When Yamaha announced the new CVP 900 series was replacing the CVP 800 series, we got our hands on a prototype to see if the new features justified the price upgrades. From a features standpoint they are nearly identical. The sound and touch improvements are hardly noticeable and very marginal so we turned around and bought as may CVP 800’s as we could. Particularly the 809 grand piano model. It’s on sale for $5,000 less than the 909GP. The CVP series has so many incredible creative and learning features and we want everyone to enjoy them from day one. That’s why we include a one on one tutorial with professional CVP trainers after you take delivery. They will show you things in an hour that would take you months to learn using the manual. We’d also highly recommend calling us at 480-479-7701 to discuss the new CSP models as an alternative to the CVP. Especially in this price point. They are phenomenal!
